How to consistently post content every day.

So I have said before about how to turn one piece of content into multiple forms using Gary Vaynerchucks theory of:

Document. Create. Distribute.

I have previously covered the 1st two steps here.

But even with all the content made or curated you still have to get it out there and waking up to post a certain time or making sure you don’t forget every day is a challenge in itself.

Now, there are a few different things you can do to ensure for a whole month you are being consistent, down to the minute.

Why?

The reasons to post consistent content can vary from person to person but the reason I post content is almost never the reason you think it is.

I sold t-shirts last year and when I met up with friends they would always assume I made money from it. In fact, each t-shirt sold netted me a grand total of…£0.01

So why sell them at all? Well, the base reason is conversation.

If I can start a conversation in the word about my brand and also having what is essentially a walking billboard to raise brand awareness, all while making a profit (no matter how small) then I have done what I set out to achieve.

In that regard, the t-shirt is just another piece of content.

My goal with these blog posts (and subsequently the podcasts and videos) is to offer genuine advice that I have trialled and tested myself. And I only post content that I value.

With all that being said, how can I possibly ensure I distribute the content consistently?

I could tell you that it’s on my list that I tick off every morning when I wake up at 6 AM but the truth is I don’t wake up at 6 anymore, and manually posting every day is time-consuming and with the current resources available it’s a waste of time.

I schedule all my content to go out when I want.

I personally use Buffer, but I know you can use many others like hoot suite or even using Facebook you can set a scheduled time and date to post it out.

Every week I sit down and plan out my content and post everything to my Buffer queue so I can relax for another week, freeing my time to focus on the production of more content.

If this in any way helped you out please let me know by dropping a comment and feel free to share this anywhere you can.
